Secretary of State Linda McCulloch Launches Mobile App to Enhance Elections;
Provides Montanans Immediate Access to Personal Voting Information
HELENA, MT – Secretary of State and Chief Elections Officer Linda McCulloch is thrilled to announce the launch of the My Voter Page Mobile App, for the Apple and Droid markets. The MVP App is an easy and convenient way for Montanans to access all the information they need to help them vote in a federal statewide election. The App is free and available to registered Montana voters.
“My Voter Page delivers on my promise to enhance the voting experience through the use of innovative and effective technology,” Secretary McCulloch said. “When voters can easily connect with election information, they are more likely to cast a ballot and encourage others to do the same. With the close of regular registration coming up next week, the App can help voters quickly determine if they’re registered or if they need to make changes to their registration in order to vote at the polls or receive an absentee ballot in the mail.”
The My Voter Page Mobile App offers:
- Access to a precinct-specific sample ballot
- Absentee ballot tracking service
- Map and directions to polling place location
- Detailed voter registration record, including current voter registration address
- Voting precinct and legislative district
- Links to election materials, including information on ballot issues
- County election office contact list
“My Voter Page is for everyone,” Secretary McCulloch said. “If you don’t have a device to run the app, visit the online service. Just log on to our website, enter your name and birth date, and get started. It’s the most efficient and effective way to find your voting information from now through Election Day.”
Detailed instructions on how to install the App.
