“Closing of the Doors” Ceremony to be held at State Capitol
Ceremony Marks The End of Candidate Filing 2012

HELENA – Secretary of State and Chief Elections Officer Linda McCulloch cordially invites the public and the media to attend the official “closing of the doors” ceremony to mark the end of candidate filing for the 2012 election cycle. Candidates, elected officials, political party representatives and Secretary of State elections staff will be in attendance.

WHEN:  Precisely 5:00 p.m. on Monday, March 12
              *Ceremony includes the official countdown to the end of candidate filing 2012

WHERE:  Secretary of State’s Office
                 2nd Floor, State Capitol Building

The Secretary of State’s office plans to release official candidate filing totals by 6 p.m. Interested parties are invited to remain in the office until the final data is reported.
