Secretary of State Linda McCulloch Launches Facebook Page 

HELENA – The Secretary of State’s Office has a Facebook page. Secretary of State Linda McCulloch announced on Tuesday that Montanans can now access elections, business services, and other office information on the popular social networking site Facebook. The Secretary of State’s Facebook page will also include pertinent legislative updates and civic engagement opportunities.

“I believe in utmost transparency, so Facebook is a natural transition,” Secretary McCulloch said. “Social networking provides a convenient and reliable resource for getting timely information out to the public.”

In addition to managing a Facebook page, Secretary McCulloch regularly posts office updates on Twitter and the Secretary of State’s website. She also launched an electronic alert system to remind business owners of important filing deadlines.

“I’m committed to cutting costs without cutting corners,” McCulloch said. “Online services provide a cost-effective way to communicate with our customers.”

The Secretary of State’s Facebook page is listed as “Secretary of State Linda McCulloch.”
