Secretary of State Linda McCulloch Salutes Election Officials and Poll Workers
in Honor of Public Service Recognition Week
Statement of Secretary of State Linda McCulloch:
I am pleased to take this opportunity to commend Montana’s Election Workers for their invaluable service to the citizens of this great state. Thanks to the thousands of men and women who serve our state, county and local governments, Montanans are able to participate - both privately and independently - in secure, fair and accurate elections.
Election Workers secure and protect our democracy by ensuring that voters have the information they need to register and to vote for the people who make and uphold our laws. It’s an important public service, yet it’s one that is often overlooked.
I salute Montana’s Election Workers for their service, commitment and dedication to the elections process. And may every Montanan take the time to thank an Election Worker during Public Service Recognition Week.
