Secretary of State Linda McCulloch to Convene 62nd Montana Legislative Assembly in the State House of Representatives

HELENA – Secretary of State Linda McCulloch will give a welcome address and convene the Montana House of Representatives on Monday, January 3 at 12:00 p.m.

Pursuant to MCA 5-2-213, McCulloch will call the members-elect of the House of Representatives to order before leading the constitutional oath of office for the 100-member body.

Following the oath of office, the House will proceed to elect its officers. A concurring ceremony will take place in the Senate Chambers to elect officers for the 50-member Montana Senate.
