Secretary of State Linda McCulloch Returns to Bonner School
for Thanksgiving & Civics Discussions

BONNER, MT – Students at Bonner School will welcome Secretary of State Linda McCulloch back to the classroom today for a lesson in civic education.

Secretary McCulloch will also join students, faculty and staff for a traditional Thanksgiving lunch and other school-related activities.

“I was a librarian at Bonner School for 16 years, so I’ve added reading to the schedule,” said McCulloch.  “Stories inspire students, and inspired students mature to become active citizens and successful adults.”

Secretary McCulloch’s nonpartisan civic awareness project is geared toward people of all ages.  Her discussions primarily focus on the importance of civic engagement in government and society.

“One of my duties as a public official is to inform and engage citizens.  Our democracy is the product of people working together for a common good, and every generation should be involved in the process,” said McCulloch.
