Secretary McCulloch Awards More Than $20,000 in Grants

(Helena) – Secretary of State Linda McCulloch today awarded the following federal grants and reimbursements to Montana counties:
Lewis and Clark County = $796 for security
Flathead County = $14,322 for Automark support and maintenance
Powder River County = $2,500 for security
Powder River County = $1,115 for Automark support and maintenance
Sheridan County = $892 for Automark support and maintenance
Deer Lodge County = $1,130 for Automark support and maintenance
The grants and reimbursements to counties total $20,755. The federal dollars stem from Montana’s portion of the Help America Vote Act. Each security grant is awarded to protect and secure county ballots and voting equipment. The Automark support and maintenance reimbursements are awarded to counties on an annual basis.
