Secretary of State Linda McCulloch to Unveil “Treasured” Montana Artist
A Photographer/Painter from Flathead County
HELENA – Secretary of State Linda McCulloch will unveil the last “Treasured” Montana Artist of the year during a public reception on Monday, July 16 at 1:00 p.m. in the Secretary of State’s Conference Room.
The next “Treasured” Artist is a self-taught photographer and painter from Kalispell. Her exhibit will feature digital photographs that have been altered to form new images from the existing colors and shapes in the original photograph.
“I launched this exhibit to celebrate artists whose work is tied to our Treasure State,” Secretary McCulloch said. “This next exhibit celebrates Montana, the diversity of our imaginations and the color and beauty found in the great outdoors.”
Past “Treasured” Montana Artist exhibits are featured in an online gallery at sos.mt.gov/Gallery.
