Secretary Linda McCulloch To Share Experiences With Youth Leaders
February 27, 2009
(Helena) - Secretary of State Linda McCulloch will share her office experiences and offer young Montanans insight into the 2009 Legislative Session during the annual Montana 4-H Citizenship Seminar. McCulloch will address the crowd in the auditorium of the Scott Hart Building in Helena on Monday, March 2, at 9:30 a.m.
"I feel right at home with the 4-H folks," said McCulloch. "I participated in the county fairs and 4-H camps when I was younger, and it's great to be able to give back to such a wonderful program."
This will not be the first time Secretary McCulloch has had the honor to speak at the seminar. She says the experience has always been positive and enriching.
"Young Montanans are becoming more involved in their communities and more interested in their government," said McCulloch. "Students are the future of our Democracy, and I am honored to be part of their education process."
The 4H Citizenship Seminar takes place each legislative year. The leadership event provides Montana 4-H members the opportunity to experience a mock legislature and to meet Montana dignitaries.
