Press Release

Secretary of State Linda McCulloch is providing Montana artists the opportunity to display their work in the lobby of the Secretary of State’s office in the historic Capitol building in Helena. The exhibit will be rotated throughout the year in order to give artists from all over the state this special opportunity. The Secretary of State encourages the public to visit our office and view the “Treasured” Montana Artist Exhibit at their leisure.

Treasured Montana Artist

Day was raised in Helena and found an appreciation for nature and wilderness at a young age. He enjoyed a typical upbringing of fishing and hunting, which developed a love for Montana. Over the past two years his drive to capture and be part of special moments in nature has pushed him to explore the wilderness and backcountry of Montana, and beyond.

“I hope my images inspire people to wake up early and catch that sunrise,” Day said. “To start a campfire with some friends as the sun goes down, and stay out late and lay under the shining stars that our beautiful state has to offer.”
